A quiet companion for your daily practice — japa and meditation, rooted in the Sanātan tradition. Nothing to sell you, and nothing to scroll.
Download on the App StoreRepeat a mantra, or simply a divine name like Rām or Rādhe. A curated library with meaning, purpose and vidhi — or keep your own guru-given mantra private on your phone. A mālā counter tracks your rounds, with a soft bell at each Sumeru, even with the screen locked.
Voice-guided sits in a real recorded voice — English or Hindi — to settle the mind.
Dhyāna or trāṭaka with gentle bells that keep time on the lock screen — eyes stay closed.
A living calendar for your exact location: sunrise, tithi, nakṣatra, and the day's muhūrtas.
Optionally shield distracting apps with Apple's Screen Time while you sit.
A quiet daily streak that honours consistency, a sankalpa to hold your intention, and a line of wisdom each morning. Small, steady steps — the way sādhana is meant to grow.
Your practice lives on your device. No accounts, no ads, no trackers. Your private mantra is never synced.

TrueAura Sādhana ("we", "our", "the app") is a japa and meditation companion. We are committed to protecting your privacy and collecting as little as possible.
Your practice data is stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data and app storage. This includes:
🔒 We have no user accounts and no cloud copy of your practice. We cannot read your japa counts, sessions, or private mantra.
To calculate the panchāng (sunrise, tithi, nakṣatra and muhūrtas), the app sends your approximate location — or the city you're viewing — to our own panchāng service to compute the calendar for that place and date. This request is used only to return the calendar; it is not tied to your identity, is not sold or shared, and is not used to build a profile of you.
The app also fetches a small configuration file to check whether an app update is required. This request contains no personal data.
Location access is optional and requested only "While Using the App," solely to localise the panchāng. If you decline, the app falls back to a default city (New Delhi). We do not store your location history.
The optional "Sacred Space" feature uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework to shield the apps you choose during a sit. This is processed entirely on your device by Apple's framework and is never transmitted to us.
Data is stored locally with iOS file protection; when your device is locked, it is encrypted at rest. We do not use iCloud sync or any remote database for your practice data.
The app is rated for a general audience and collects no personal information from anyone, including children. Because practice data stays on-device and we have no accounts, there is nothing for us to access.
If we later offer an optional email sign-up (for practice reminders or news), it will be clearly opt-in, skippable, and disclosed here and in the App Store privacy details before it is enabled. It is not part of this version.
Delete the app from your device to remove all local data. Practice data is not stored on any server, so there is nothing further to erase.
We'll update this page if our practices change. Questions? Email Contactus@trueaura.com.

Everything you need to know
A quiet daily companion for japa (repeating a mantra or a divine name) and meditation, rooted in the Sanātan tradition — with a mālā counter, voice-guided sits, silent sits with bells, and a panchāng calendar.
Yes — free, with no ads and no in-app purchases.
Japa is the gentle, repeated recitation of a mantra or a divine name (like Rām or Rādhe), often counted on a mālā of 108 beads. The app counts your rounds and rings a soft bell at each Sumeru.
No. Each mantra shows the Devanāgarī, a transliteration, and its meaning and purpose. You can also simply repeat a divine name.
Guided sits use a real recorded voice, available in English and Hindi, with an in-app toggle. You can also sit in silence with just the bells.
A Hindu almanac for the day — sunrise and sunset, tithi, nakṣatra, yoga, karaṇa, and auspicious muhūrtas — computed for your location so you can plan your practice.
Only optionally, and only to localise the panchāng. If you decline, it uses a default city. See our Privacy page for details.
An optional feature that uses Apple's Screen Time to shield distracting apps for the length of your sit, so the phone rests while you do. It's entirely optional.
No accounts, no analytics, no trackers. Your practice stays on your device. The only network request sends your approximate location to compute the panchāng — never stored or shared. See Privacy.
Japa, guided and silent sits, tracking, and your saved calendar work offline. Fetching a fresh panchāng for a new day or place needs a connection.
Anyone drawn to japa and meditation — whether you're beginning or have a long-standing practice. Rated for a general audience.
Delete the app from your device — everything is stored locally, so nothing remains on any server.
iPhone and iPad running iOS/iPadOS 17.6 or later.

⏱ Response: Within 24–48 hours
Enable Notifications for TrueAura Sādhana (Settings → Notifications), and keep the ringer/volume up. The app also plays a silent keep-alive so timed bells stay accurate while locked.
Allow Location "While Using the App" (Settings → Privacy → Location Services), then reopen the Calendar tab. Without it, the app uses a default city.
Grant Screen Time access when prompted (Settings → Screen Time). It's optional — every practice works without it.
Practice data is stored locally. If you deleted and reinstalled the app, previous data cannot be recovered.
Delete the app from your device. Everything is stored locally — no server-side data exists, so nothing else needs to be erased.
